About The Poet:
I am the eldest of 8. I grew up and live in a farming community. I have been a surrogate mom for my sister. I am a single parent of 4 children, 1 of whom is a special needs child. I stay at home full-time. I have been published a few times- I even have a poem engraved for a statue in our local park. Seems I don't make the extra time or $ for myself to work hard at becoming published. I was an EMT for a few years and have had jobs at a grocery store (2 yrs), working as managing hairstylist (15 yrs) and went to nursing school to become an RN for 1 year, until my youngest became ill. Now I live as a taxi driver for my kids!

Inspirations:
Everything or nothing- whatever speaks to me at the moment.

Keep that smile

I am glad you agree. It Puts you ahead of the slow in coming.
Some have eyes, but cannot see. Some cannot see the forest
for the trees. And some don't care to see one way or the other. And some things you can see without being told by the other.Like, a good smile that speak for itself.
But not all things is plain to see.But characteristics of the
spirit that give us attitudes of good and evil cannot be hidden.
Its more important to have grace than power.
