About The Poet:
Hi my name is Donna I am 44 yrs. old married and the mother of 2 beautiful children. My daughter Victoria is 15 and my son Daniel is 14 months. I love to write poetry to help people cope, laugh, heal, realize, etc. I currently have 300 or more poems on another site where I first began posting my poetry 3 years ago. What a fantastic feeling when I began receiving many responses from people all over the world who could identify with my poems and were being touched by them. The requests began to come in and still do. I wrote a poem for a man whho was facing 11 years in Prison and a lady friend of his asked me to write a poem as a farewell, she gave me a brief summary of his life and how and why he was in that predictament, I wrote the poem and was so thrilled when she responded after court, she said Judge Ito from O.J. fame was the judege in this case of John, he seen that all Johns supporters and family had a copy of something so he asked to see it, the judge read the poem out loud, everyone cried and being so moved by the poem changed the sentencing to no prison but instead asked Johns attorney to find alternate placing for John. That was one of the happiest moments in my life.

Inspirations:
when I was a child an illness made me different and like an outcast at school so I started writting poems at eleven yrs. old to vent my pain.
