About The Poet:
I've always read. I had always wanted to write. I put it off as long as I could. 'bout three years or so ago, I guess I reached that stage of maturity that just said "What the heck." So I wrote a little 'just for me'. Then I discovered poetry and writing boards (sites). Should I chance posting? Would anyone read 'MY' stuff? Well I put up a couple things on a site or two and some very special people gave me encouragement and support.
My attempts are pretty scattered. I have no particular style. Usually I'll have a thought (now watch it, I bruise easily)... that leads to a first line or central theme then I write to that... wherever the line leads.
Aside from writing, I like outdoor stuff. Hunting, shooting, fishing, ATV's, camping, nature, gardening (flower and veggie) and a little cooking and grilling (that much shows huh?).
