About The Poet:
I am a 47 year old woman with an extreme passion for life! Lady luck has not been kind to me the past 12 months. I am currently in remission from Lymphoma and my illness has taught me a great lession in love and life! What I thought was important "Wasn't". What I thought wasn't "Is". My number one motto is that of what was heard, many, many times but never practiced. "Live for today, yesterday is long gone and tomorrow may never come" Seize the moment for you may never get another chance! I try to express this and all lessons that I have learned in many ways such as my drawings, paintings and writing!

I am currently battling a heart tumor and will be undergoing one of the rarest surgeries in Houston this next week. My poems come from a deep place in my soul. Thank you for taking the time to read them.
