About The Poet:
I am 63 years old and wrote my first poem to my wife of forty years two months before we were married. I am a Vietnam veteran (18 months) and was very traumatically effected by the war. I came back many years older than my age. I married my Sheila and started my own business, raised two children (Scott & Shauna) and became Commander of the local American Legion. I started a Child Safety Program for the town thru the Legion that in three years made the town the safest place to raise a child. I love writing poerty and expressing in a few lines what people are thinking but for some reason cannot put into words.
