About The Poet:
I have been writing since I was very young. In addition to writing, I like to read, be around friends, listen to music (Joni Mitchell and Ronee Blakley are a couple of my favorites), watch movies. I live alone in a town of 36,000 and suffer all of the trappings of suburbia. I smoke and am a big coffee drinker (black, thank you...with none of the Starbuck additives). I love a good sense of humor and love to laugh. I think I am am easy person to get along with, although somewhat shy at first.

Inspirations:
Anything, actually. I think I may get my best inspiration by being around other writers. I also like to be given a theme or phrase to build on. So, come on....inspire me!!!

Reading, writing (of course). Almost anything can interest me.

Favorite Authors, Books, Poems:
My favorite contempory writer is John Irving. I like and read a lot of fiction. As far as poets, Edna St. Vincent Milay, e.e. cummings, Dylan Thomas, T.S Eliot, Anne Sexton to name a few.

When I am not working I ........
....I tend to be lazy. Also like to bum around with friends. Always thinking of what to write about.
