About The Poet:
Growing up I didnt really have anyone that i could run to and tell everything to. I had to endure lifes hardships alone.. well atleast thats how i felt.. So I started writing.. I would read some of the thiungs i wrote and they would blow my mind.. It didnt take long for me to realize that this was my gift from God.. I'll never forget my therapist when i was about 14 years old had me write a letter to my mom.. and he read it.. the look on his face was priceless.. He called my mom in the room and he said this letter is beyond what i thought i was going to read.. she has talent.. and he looked at me.. smiled.. and said NEVER LET THIS GO!! && thats all i needed to hear.. Now as an adult Im GREATFUL that i have this talent.. cause without it.. I would have lost my mind by now.. Overcoming so many obstacles:: Stillborn son, losing my best friend to diabetes, losing my Grandparents who was my EVERYTHING, coming through an abusive relationship, losing loved one after loved one, man the average person probably wouldnt have made it through.. But God gave me the strength.. and Im tellin yall.. IM HERE && I aint goin nowhere!! I got a story to tell.. So listen up!! =)
Inspirations:
My life has been a roller coaster ride.. It's taken me in so many directions, caused me so heartache, brought me joy, made me cry, made me smile, and even had me on the verge of taking my life.. But in the mist of the storm.. Its nothing but my pen and pad that's brought me through it all!! Writing is my passion.. Its my outlet.. It takes my mind to places that nothing else would be able to take it!! POETRY=ME!! Writing For: 5 Year(s)
