Poetry Scriber : Learn How To Write Poetry Online

So your new to poetry and uncertain if you are even a poet, or even if you can write anything that sounds the least bit poetic. Well don't fret because I assure you that with just several attempts and with a little help you will be turning those wonderful feelings and out bursts of emotions into works of art. Not only that your work will flow as you read them aloud proud of what you have accomplished.

Your still thinking it's not possible but stick with it and you will become an accomplished poet with people waiting for you to post your next scribe.

1)How do I start

Your here and that of course is step one. It shows that you fancy being able to paint a picture with words that touches you and your audience.

2)  Your Brain:

Whats on your mind? Think about your day and things you've seen heard or felt. Take time to recall when you smiled and what made you smile or maybe what made you sad. We all have emotions that are touched all day long and what you are gonna start to do is write them down.

3) The Note Pad:

A note pad will help you keep track of things like good titles, content, facts and feelings. Always keep one at the house, in your car or at work. It really depends on where most of your day is spent. You wont be writing to much down, just small notes to remind you later when you get the chance to do your magic. For many just a title is all they need to get strated on flowing words to sentences to paragraphs.

"Before you know it a poem is produced".

4) Rhyme or Not:

Poems can rhyme or they can just flow without rhyming. You dont need to have an encyclopedia brain to produce good poetry only the will to try. Some helpful tools for rhyming would of course be a rhyming dictionary which will introduce you to words you may have never thought of. Dont spend to much time trying to rhyme and if you get stuck then change up the previous ending word or sentence to aid you in finding a new word.

5) Thesaurus:

Most word processors these days incorporate a thesaurus as a tool. This tool is very helpful when your looking to use different words instead of the ones you've been using. It can be tiresome and seem repetitive when you have a limited vocabulary.

6) Spell checker:

Theres some people who wont even read your poems if they see allot of spelling errors. Personally I judge the poem on how it makes me feel. So use a spelling checker to check your work when possible.

7) Relax:

Your not on stage and the world wont come crashing down if your poem is not a masterpiece. In fact the best time to write is when you are totally relaxed and your done with work and you breathe in and strat using your imagination.

8) what to write about:

This is the silliest question ever for the simple fact that everything can be written about. From a rubber band to a tin can, from a smile to a long lost love. Pick a feeling an object or an emotion and think about it picturing an event or just making it up in your head.

When you complete your poem pat yourself on the back. Instill confidence in yourself and always write first for you thn for your audience. A real poet only needs the satisfaction of his own writing and creations to feel satisfied. Having readers is like adding frosting too the cake!

I hope this has helped you to get started and I wish you a wonderful journey into the world of poetry. Your writing will make people laugh, cry, smile, love, anger some and inspire others. When people start telling you past stories from a memory that was brought to the surface by one of your poems you will then know the joy I feel everyday!!

Good Luck and God Bless!
