Everynight before i sleep,
I take time to cry and weep.
Tears rolling down my warm cheek.
I pray to find what I seek.
Hoping and praying to have sweet dreams,
I find myself waking to horrors and screams.
Wishing all this could just go away,
Simple enough...I sing and pray.
To my surprise...he is watching over me,
Just awaiting the day to be set free.
So tired of crying everynight,
Now I have faith it will be alright.
My days are over from being blue,
Because him up above has sent me you.
