"DARE TO BE DIFFERENT"
A poor and unhappy child,
Living each day like it's her last
Dares to be different in everyway,
To live miles far away
She looks at her pitiful father abusing drugs,
And her senseless mother going astray
And thinks of an ailment,
That would make her tragedies and life-long pain go away
To see her from your window,
Walking the lonesome streets at night
Crying her eyes out,
Hurts you to know that she has this plight to be different without any doubt
It's a pain,
Looking at this helpless child everyday,
Knowing that her parents have no reason for change
But she still dares to live that happy childhood she wants,
With no fear and negative streets to cross
