When i take Pen in Hand : Personification Poetry Writing by a Poet out of Atlanta Ga

When I take pen in hand
To write down what visions
That my intellect demands

I see a light so bright
That it takes me away
Far from the gloom doom and boom
Of the darkness of today

It inspires me to pick and poke
In the ruins and deadness of life
And bring forth to the paper
That which is odd and challenging
But nice

Life itself is my inspiration of thought
Steaming from the many mega experiences
Of spirirual war-fare
From which mysterious thoughts that it is brought

Do this, and do that, stop here, and watch that
Came the inspirations to myself
But I sorted out the most of and the best ones
And the other ones I left
SO
I TAKE PEN IN HAND

	The Poet and the Pen I see where your coming from on this scribe as I too have sorted through my day and filtered out my experiences so that I may write. I think the best feeling I have as a writer is having that wonderful light go off in my head that allows my pen to flow easily. Sometimes it matters not what the topic is as much as how wonderfully rejoicing it is to empty my head onto the paper or screen. 	And feelings! Writing to release the feeling that you hold inside. That can't be said or delt with any other way! This is great. So many days I think about the things I did and said and wished I had or had not. What better way to understand or to release. 	The Magic Wand The words that speak in your poem have metaphors and life . The story is appealing , with one wave of your pen a window opens to where another world awaits .
