"In all the places to hide in, why did it had to be
Kira ignored him as she went around the huge hangar, where several bodies were down, unconscious or already dead. She looked at the bodies, searching for something. They had landed in
"For a high-security outpost," Naika observed as she checked the computers that were in one side of the hangar, "this place sure is pathetic. I mean, look, even a toddler can hack into their systems! What kind of a mission is this?"
"Sweetie, you're just that good," Chilly said with a saucy grin. He gathered as many guns and rifles from the fallen men as his two arms could carry and sauntered over to his partner. "Find anything juicy?"
"Only accounting files," Naika said with a puzzled frown, "and some of the items here are in coded in abbreviations. I'm not sure what to make of it. Where's the important info HQ said they had?"
"Maybe they managed to—"
BRA-TA-TAT!
They quickly ducked under the steel table, covering their heads. "What the fuck!?" Naika cried out. Suddenly, there was a strangled scream and a man's voice shouting in a foreign language. Chilly's eyes went wide.
"That's Hebrew!" he said, grabbing one of the rifles on the floor and cocking it. "What's a Middle-Eastern doing here? Where's Kira?" He quickly made several shots in the direction of the voice and ducked again.
"Kira!" Naika cried out, yet there was no answer. The shooting continued and they couldn't get the chance to fire back.
Suddenly, the shooting stop and a frightened cry rang out. "Stop it," said Kira's voice, "or I break your neck."
"Don't kill him yet!" Naika shouted as she jumped out of the table and rushed towards them. Her eyes stared at the man struggling in Kira's grasp. The man's eyes were wide and wild, and despite the fact that he taller than Kira by a head, he couldn't move much for Kira had her arms locked around his. Kira calmly regarded the man quietly, as though the struggling meant nothing to her. "What's he talking about?" she demanded when she realized the man was still talking.
Chilly listened carefully as he had the rifle pointed at the man. "He's saying…that we've sinned…for being with a fallen angel?" He and Naika looked at each other in confusion. "That's all he keeps saying," he continued.
"What do you mean a fallen angel? Who's a fallen angel?" Naika said.
Suddenly, the man's body started to shudder. His eyes rolled back and his mouth started to foam.
