you walk away : Adult Poetry

Knowing in your heart theres so much more you need to say.

You love her and you hate her,theres nothing left but shattered dreams.

Tears on her pillow use to mean so much now they dont mean a thing.

You've tried so many times to make her understand.

All you want is to be treated like a man.

Theres only so much you can say so very little you can do.

You cant fix everything you are human to.

How much must one man take before he falls apart.

Everyday shes ripping and eating at your heart.

Questions come from every direction ,like airplanes on a runway.

But to avoid tearing down everything you've built you silently walk away.
