As I layed in bed last night the wind whispered a song to me
Although I knew not the words I hummed its melody
It seemed to capture the darkness,replacing it with a beautiful burst of light
Almost as if it were trying to hold me and gently say good night
The world outside was silent except for this swaying breeze
It was similar to what a sleeping child would find in his dreams
The whispering wind began to fade but yet I did not weep
I layed amongst the shadows and drifted off to sleep
