Reliance
I am so exhausted of pursuing someone
who has no desire to be caught.
A name who would rather hound
phantoms of his past then to exist in
the present with me.
A person who is so desolate he desires
drugs, alcohol or death rather then
receive affection he feels unworthy of.
I must understand that he refuses
outcome and will live in his sorrow
till’ the earth swallows him in anguish.
I must realize that I cannot amend his
perception of life, only for the value of
love.
It may be adequate that love is not enough.
"Being" is simply what it is for that moment,
nothing to be completed. For I can decide
no ones direction, then put aside my own.
