Kaytlan Jane and Her Ticker

Kaytlan Jane

has a problem ticker

its’ supports are opposed

and it makes it flicker.

She cannot labor it

nor, do as she desires

Kaytlan Jane

has a heart that misfires.

She’s just a teenager

stressing about prom

but, her family is anxious-

she’s concerning her Mom.

Her heart should be exquisite,

as is, Kaytlan Jane

not do her the injustice

of causing such pain.

The doctors thought they fixed it

the last time they tried

but, it pretended to be good-

and her ticker hid a lie.

Now, to expose the truth

all over she starts-

wearing the monitor

to spy on her heart.

And we pray her ticker

gets caught at its’ tricks

so when the doctors mend it

this time it sticks,

and Kaytlan Jane’s heart

carries a beat that is good,

so she can live a fantastic life-

like an amazing girl should!
