Enlightened by the thoughts of your past words
Inspired by the memory's of your touch
Amazed by the warmth of your being
Delighted by your depth and ability to reach the inner circle of my soul
Expectant of your voice every second of every day
Hope of your scent every night when I dream
Want of your understanding for my need for spoken truths
Dependence of your ability to awaken unexplored areas of my heart and mind
Questioning the pages of your journal
and the way the hurt of the past has built
a prison for your future
Confused by inner conflicts of hurt, dishonesty, and loss from
My own History
Assessing time spent, words spoken and wanting to erase them
To learn from the exploration of options and past choices made
while aging the past quicker to learn faster for the future to never
recreate impossibilities again
Finally embracing that this too shall pass and emerging to the
Warmth that only the hope of Love can bring
Which will tear down the walls of the past to
Allow new dreams and opportunity
That if not for allowing us to
Love the past...as the Wisdom needed for our future.
