There's someone who is always
in the back of my mind.
I was hoping he was the one
I had been searching to find.
But then I come back to reality
and shake off the day dream.
To realize that it's just a fantasy
no matter how “real” it had seemed.
We go through this life in search
of someone that we could love.
Only to fall short, and continue
to be lonely and neglected of....
Intimacy, is what we yearn for
having someone to hold us at night.
And make you feel beautiful with
a “Good Morning” kiss, is a delight.
But each day passes slowly
while I hope you'll soon realize.
I would do almost anything
to be the only one in your eyes.
I'll give up for now on being your girl
since it feels, you'll never have me.
Too Bad, I would have treated you well
the way a Good Man deserves to be.
