WITHOUT GUNZ
Damn I would shit ma pants
If I saw a man in a black leather jacket
Walk in a classroom full of students
Cock tha glock 9 like columbine in 99’
When Eric and Dylan used a tec-9
Tha nation was in shock and awe
Like Ali cold clocked tha jaw
It’s a shame how tha game
Remains tha same
After tha, bloody carnage
“Its tha man behind tha trigger!”
But u figure without gunz
There wouldn’t be a man behind tha trigger
And all tha senseless murder
In tha wake of spring
Tha ring of death took 32 under its wing
Horrors of a forgotten past become true
And tha most alive had 2 die,
While we were left crying wondering why
Your loved ones may never turn this page
Just like u don’t ever get over things but
Go thru’ them
So I pay homage 2 tha parents of murdered children
C without gunz Ryan Clark would never
Have died in tha day’s violent dark
Mark these words one soul 2 loose
A thousand souls to gain
“Lauren McCain I pray your death was not in vain”
Without gunz
Mary Read would still be doin’ what she did
And 2nite will never be right
Without Nicole White
Hope in your demise a bright light
Shown your way
Why did Cho have to kill Rachel hill?
Tha number thirty-two is ill...
Even tha Amish had no tyme to heal
Emily Keyes lord pliz was only sixteen!
Yet she died a hero texting, “I love u guys”
While they shot Brad in cold blooded murder
See without gunz we wouldn’t dwell
In fear and the possibility of mass murder.....

When walking in the schools, malls, and public places as such we hardly notice people as we go around and about our businesses. Life takes a significant turn when we watch the evening news in utter shock as either drama unfolds in some distant land about some psycho who wipes out people for no apparent reasons. There should be only two types of people that should have guns.
(1) Law Enforcement Officers
(2) Criminals
The reason the latter should have guns is because well they are criminals and have always had access to guns illegally anyway. Their motives are cut and clear and are usually dressed a certain way. For example, if u saw a black man, dressed in gang colors, or a white man who is dressed scantily the norm would be to avoid that person. A red flag is raised immediately due to stereotypes and whatever reasons. However if you saw a young Asian man dressed in a cashmere, black slacks, and a brief case inside a mall most likely than not you would not pay attention to that particular individual because he does not fit the status quo of a criminal.
Surprise becomes reality when you later hear about a mass murder perpetuated by the same Asian man.
What is really annoying is the weapons of choice were legally purchased. A criminal background check is satisfied, and with that satisfaction, the usual transactions are completed.
Mass murders are frequent in American cities, and suburbs more than ever before, and the question at hand is “when will this ever stop?” The NRA is the biggest gun Lobbyists, and donors in Congress and therefore no bills will ever be passed to ban weapons. Meanwhile we will continue to witness mass murders in America, and the same songs will be repeated over and over again.
I vote for the total banning of weapons except hunting rifles, and though that is almost impossible then stiffer background checks need to be done including mental health checks. Then maybe we will see murders like these lessen.
My deepest sympathy goes out to all the parents of murdered children. Nobody can relate to the pain family members are left to bear. Nothing ever makes sense. Usually the security blanket and reasoning in life is that after childbirth and rearing you expect your children to escort you to your final resting place, however nature has other plans. I had a very personal experience when someone I deeply loved lost her son to murderers and that is a chapter I remember with so much heartache. When taking somebody’s life for revenge or whatever the fancy you not only kill and hurt the victim but family and society become victims too.
