Dear Daddy
I may be only four dear daddy
I may not reach the sink,
Hearts don't have an age,
so I wanna tell you what I think.
I don't understand why the judge punished me, I haven't been a bad girl,
Yet I received the sentence, of not having you in my world.
I miss you in the mornings,
and the big hugs you gave,
I miss you scolding me, when I would misbehave.
I miss you daddy, being silly and having fun,
I feel bad for other kids,
Cause I have the best daddy above everyone.
I wished on a star
to take the missing from your heart,
Cause it must be sad having to be apart.
You'd be proud of me, I'm more grown up this year,.
I learned to count to a hundred
by counting every tear.
Christmas is coming for all of the world
That includes you too daddy,
love you Bunch,
daddy's girl
This poem written for a 4 year old girl about her daddy in prison...
