I'll tell you when we put the pressure on
they had no answer to that .
It was like magic today,
you kept on pulling tricks out of a hat .
In the air or on the ground
you took the game to them and played to win .
You kept cool and pushed the ball around
until their heads were in a spin .
You jumped for the ball today
as if you had some rockets on your feet .
I never once had cause to worry about
the team facing defeat ..
On the wings you swerved and passed them by
along the thin unbroken line ,
Then sending the ball into the center
where strikers just took their time .
Talent will always win out in the end
and you all showed that today .
No one could ever ask for more .
You're just magic ,
well done
You're ok .
