What A Show : Modern Poetry

Its time for the show .

He 's standing under the spotlight .

With some friends in the front row .

He was wearing a leather jacket ,

With jeans and big black boots .

The first song of the bracket was

Original bluegrass roots   .   

He plucked a steel guitar and

stood in front of the microphone.

What a wonderful feeling 
and everybody felt at home .

When the band joined him on stage ,

they almost blew the roof away  .
When the gig was over they said 

man that band could really play  .
