There By The Window : Religious Poetry

 A child in prayer with rosary beads in his hand .
He mutters words like someone's there to understand .
He speaks there to a friend with his face all aglow ,
he nods his head and smiles there beside the window .
The boy climbs into bed , an angels by his side ,
Over by the window the curtains slowly slide .
Outside the wind is wild,
a voice says ,
"I'm with thee "
but no one else is there as far as I can see .
"Goodnight God "
the boys says
"Thanks for hearing my prayer .
"Goodnight my little one I will always be there "
