Theatres Of War : War Poetry

 Hundreds of years ago

soldiers fought each other

on beaches hand to hand .

No innocent bystanders were killed

By something they didn't understand .

Even with today's technology

The deaths of innocent were not planned .

These days war has changed .

They're complex .

But nobody really can understand .

Chemicals and other weapons .

May end wars before they even began   .

What about the future ?

Will the earth be controlled

 by robots or by man ?
