The Winters Of Discontent : Giggle Poetry

written by Poet : Paul McCann

In prehistoric times ,dodo  birds and lizards had to find some food regardless of the blizzards Dinosaurs laid their eggs somewhere in the snowdrift  stepping so carefully in case the ground would shift .

In pagan times witches never flew on broomsticks when the snow fell down  ruining their dirty tricks  Wizards lost their pointed hats as the wild winds blew and needles broke on  spinning wheels and spells broke  too .

Back in the middle ages times where so dark the butterflies slept as the sky swallowed the lark . Rivers refused to run and fish refused to bite  when winter was cold all day and snow fell  all night .

Bitter were the winds blowing with a chilling sound ,discontent lay heavily on the snowy ground . Winter kept it's company with a moan and groan everybody sat frozen, right down to the bone

.
