Divorce is like a death in your life ,

A love severed, by a jagged knife .

Cut in two and left bleeding within .

Shattered , not knowing where to begin  .

Picking over the bones night and day .

Angry and hurt to be left that way .       .

A broken heart is an empty hole ,

Filling the space is healing the soul .

Repairing the damage takes some time ,

Its like waiting for the sun to shine ,

Deep in the depths of the heart and mind .

After divorce there is a rebirth  .

Love will return to show your real worth  .
