The Midnight Train : Relationship Poetry

It's not good for me being away from you .
All I can hear is the rain.
All I can think of is you .
All I can hear is every passing train .
All I am is alone without your love .
I need to be with you again .
I don't want to wait any longer.
I can't take lonely another night.
I am going to buy a train ticket,
the first thing in the morning light .
I'll be coming home on the midnight train
to be back in your arms again.
You're just a couple of miles down the line .
I'll be with you my love again.
I'm stepping on board the train.
I hope I'm never coming back here again
I've got a one way ticket and it's taking me back
on the midnight train.
Big wheels are churning and turning up the track.
I am rolling home again.
Click clack down the track in the dead of night .
It's lonely on the midnight train.
Knowing love's going to be there at the end of the line ,
eases the pain.
I'm bound to your heart my love .
The journey of our love has returned again.
Love has been growing since we've been apart.
I'm waving goodbye to the train.
