The Lucky Leader : Giggle Poetry

Now it's not that I am greedy,

just more desperate and needy.

I am praying hard on my knees.

to be one of the nominees .

So politically I would plot,

I would give half of what I got ,

to the homeless and the hungry ,

 to the poor and others like me ,

to win the presidency prize.

I'd be healthy wealthy and wise .

Yes I would be wealthy indeed.

No more scrounging round for a feed.

For a change it would be funny,

having lots and lots of money.

The kids would have all that they need.

 head start for them to succeed.

Coins to throw in the wishing well.

Rest and  recreation as well.

We would travel the world afar.

Driven around in a big car.

Be flown in a private jet .

Have my own security net .

I'd be invited to parties  .

Be seen with all the dignitaries .

The wife would have wardrobes of clothes,

with big diamonds and all that  glows.

No more backbreaking work for me.

When I win the presidency .

I would have brand new clothes to wear.

Oh to be swellagant with flair.

But then responsibility .

To be president , no not me  .

I'll leave it for someone to fix

I'm just not made for politics  .
