They prowl about with night sights and peacefully try to prevent further crime .
There’s no denying a vigilant foot patrol force is like a stitch in time .
Walking through streets in single file trying not to hear the babies crying .
Looking how to prevent bullets flying and innocent people dying .
They watch by day .
They watch by night
They watch the streets and hold on to what’s right .
They watch the windows of houses ,
They watch the rooftops with their eyes peeled tight .
They watch back doors , front doors .
They watch each others back and watch up ahead .
They watch for the enemy and let them know to watch out for them instead .
They want the community to feel safe and to live without fear of crime .
They protect shacks and cul-de-sacs .
They are on foot patrol all of the time .
They are the armed force called in to protect the rights and dignity
of all .
They keep the streets clean,
Crime is seldom seen because they’re always on the ball .
