The Circus : Childrens Poetry

written by Poet : Paul McCann

The circus came to town ,
there was Co-Co the clown
Acrobats trapeze bars
they're high flying stars
The walkers on a high wire
Some people who eat fire
The jugglers tossing balls
And dogs dressed up like dolls
Little ponies that dance
The children in a trance
Everyone's relaxed
watching the circus acts
The special attraction
is the non-stop action
underneath the Big Top .
So come along , roll up
Roll up and say hello
To the fun of the show
And the show must go on
Til the circus has gone .
