I don’t want to be like the ungrateful leper in life , who forgot to say thanks to you
Because that is the price and we must pay you respect today in the world we live .
Thank you for all of creation,
the great love you give .
Thank you for all the healing plants and the doctors and cures .
Thanks for your mercy and forgiveness that always endures.
Thank you for wild flowers in green valleys and the mountains high .
Thank you for the insects and the birds that fly in the sky .
Thank you for all the oceans and all the creatures that swim .
Thank you all for living things that move , fly , wriggle and spin .
Thank you the sun and the winds that blow and the rainbow ,for stars and the moon that shine and for the rain hail and snow .
Thank you for nature in its fury
and in its stillness .
Thank you for the busy cities and the empty wildernesses .
Sometimes days slip away and I forget to say thank you .
I'd like to say thank you a lot more often than I do .
Thanks for allowing me a place where I can understand the abilities and the gifts that make me who I am .
Thanks for helping me find the acceptance being me .
In knowing I am the person you want me to be and its because of you that I am able to see .
I give thanks for the person you are as well as me .
I thank you today and I thank you for yesterday
I thank you for all the tomorrows that come my way.
