Let me make myself perfectly clear .
As a man it is God who I fear .
But why do you fear God some may ask .
The answer I have puts to the task .
The wise inquisitive few , who
Say they have nothing to fear .
Its true .
It's written that God is slow to anger .
And he will some day - Devil beware .
I would not like to stand in Gods way ,
he could end the life we know today .
Fear for the judgment in front of you .
Fear is the jealous few ,
Those who are blue .
When the day shall come and we shall see ,
That we're not what God wants us to be .
So we'll have some catching up to do .
With God some time in eternity .
To fear God is part of my being .
My fear is more than disagreeing .
I fear offending God in any way .
By the things I do and things I say .
I pray hard for all the human race
For if we should ever fall from grace ,
Or cut off ourselves off from his mercy .
Then the fear I have inside of me ,
Would be a living testimony .
