Teenage Day : Birthday Ages

 

 

 

I say –

Hey son well done ,

You're now 13 ,

And you seem to be a much bigger dude      

 

You say -

Sure Dad its too bad 

because I'm much bigger than you are these days .

 

I say –

 

Direct with respect ,

 

 

cause size is not as important ,

 

 

As you are to me .

 

 

 

 

 

They say ,

 

 

teenagers are loud but we are still proud of you .

 

 

even though you're noisy

 

 

 

 

 

You say –

 

 

Hey yea that's ok ,

 

 

So why don't you tell me ,

 

 

To have a happy birthday ,

 

 

 Well ok I can do ,

 

 

Say happy birthday to you .

 

 

I see where you're at today .
