Summer Without A Fridge : Giggle Poetry

written by Poet : Paul McCann

Isn’t it just the way on the hottest summers day the fridge stops .

That’s when you find out the ice cream has run away with the ice pops

There's a yellow runaway butter river

Flowing from the tub .
Best bathe in the warm milk before it curdles and enjoy the scrub .
What used to be the cold meat is now filling the house

with a stench ,
The lemonade is flat and has lost all signs of effervescence .

There is nothing left  of the chocolate and forget about ice tea .

How on earth did we ever live without the fridge ,

Well don't ask me .
