Lord some people search and search  .

Speak to those lost on the earth.

There are some who won't agree .

Speak to those who cannot see .

Speak to those who can't find work .

The bitter and those who hurt .

Speak to the children at play .

Speak for those who cannot say .

Speak to all those torn apart ,'

Those who have a broken heart  .

Speak to people discerning ,

To  courts and seats of learning .

Speak to ears that cannot hear ,

to those in war , those who fear .

Speak to babies before birth ,

Speak to gardeners of the earth .

Speak to Christians who love you ,

Speak to Muslims and Hindu    ,

Speak to doctrines in control  ,

Speak to the depths of our soul .

These are trying times indeed.

Speak to those who are in need .

I know your voice , hear my plea ,

Speak to my friends , speak to me .
