Soldier Of Faith : Religious Poetry

I'm putting on the armour and shaping up today .

With faith as my guide its time for me to break away .

Its onward Christian soldier , I shall not be afraid  .

Because I have the power to wield the twin edged blade.

Speak the truth Gods holy word .

Everyone say amen .

God is slow to anger ,

And his mercy knows no end .

A solider of faith must stand stands alone to fight the foe .

With strong faith and belief to withstand every blow   .

With a pure heart good and true God shall always defend

The soldier who calls on his name ,

He knows as a  friend .

Faith is a God given gift ,

No one takes this from me .

God is my strength and in his name ,

I claim victory .
