Disability he never knew ,

 he got accustomed to getting through .

Thought it cut him in two , like a knife ,

he lived with silence ,that filled his life .

He never heard all the things you said .

He understood how get ahead  .

 To hear beyond the place that you are ,

is not hard ,or even very far .

If you listen maybe you will hear   ,

disabilities , nothing to fear .

 Where there is love there is harmony ,

its living with disability,

  harmony is nothing to fear .

 and that's clearly  what we need to hear  .

 

 

 He found a light where the darkness fell .

An escape from where the hermit dwelled .

 

From a living hell no one could tell ,

He turned his vision around so well .

 To see beyond all the things we see .

 To where love lives within in you and me .

 You have to believe before you  see ,

the truth about disability .

 

If you can feel my arms around you ,

 Then you know that love surrounds you  .

Everyone needs to find a way ,

To break down barriers everyday .

 Then we can see and hear far beyond ,

To where we are all able to bond .
