Jesus was a carpenters son,
Jesus he was good .
Crucify him the people cried .
He died on wood .
Back when the wood was green
if only we'd knew ,
who he was and what he tried to do .
See the symbol of his love on a cross and chain,
opening his arms ,reaching out Jesus bless your name . Jesus now the wood is dry that you died upon
but the love you gave carries on .
In the name of Jesus people must testify
there's no greater love than Jesus for you and I .
Love's the reason why he came .
Love is his name . Jesus your love is rising again .
Rising up again. Jesus never let me go . Life is like the circle as years they come and go .
One thing that is true ,
love remains the same.
