They placed him in a tomb ,
they thought he had died .
But he arose and pushed the boulder aside.
On the road to Antioch ,
he walked along ,
and people saw him
to be alive and strong .
They must have thought ,
have we all misunderstood ?
He sat and spoke to them
and they shared some food .
He said he had not gone to the other side .
Jesus was really alive ,
he had not died .
Is this hard for you to accept ,
yes or no ?
In the resurrection
he wants us to know .
Death is no the end ,
there's life everlasting ,
Have faith and believe ,
that's all he is asking .
Walk with Jesus along the road
and you'll see .
After this life,
with him , is where we should be .
Together we can walk
through this life's last mile .
The journey here
is only but a brief while .
