An escape from the home where her housework never ends .
To swings in the park where how high up you go depends ,
On your Mother's pushing or your own ability .,
To find freedom in the air like a caged bird set free .
With Mother's picnic basket and a rug on the ground ,
Mother calls the children over and they all sit down .
There are special moment's when life's beginning for some ,
And Mothers make the time for her children to have fun .
A smile from a mother as her children run and play .
A walk in the springtime through the wild flowers in May .
Beyond the concrete shadows the long grass grows knee high,
and butterflies are captured by each innocent eye .
Theirs is space for a whisper and there's time for a scream ,
Children need to be heard and Mothers need to be seen .
