Mother And The Principal : Giggle Poetry

written by Poet : Paul McCann

Its my last year in Primary school and I don't really want to leave .

Even though all my friends tell me not to worry all I do is grieve  .

I worry about not fitting in there and being misunderstood

I just know that I'll be picked on by  those big kids with an attitude  .

My Mother told me I must  go to school ,

but I said what if I don't .

What if I  told them all to go and jump.

God knows I should but I won't  .

After all I will be the new Principal and they will need me there .

And I guess everything will fall into place once I'm over there .

I must think positive now and take on a professional approach

Leading by example and laying down new ground rules that matter most .

Sometimes when you're the principal

people never see the things you do .

But at the end of the day , that's ok ,

As long as I help them through .
