Loves Reprieve : Love Poetry

My love and I sat under Lennox Arch ,

As time passed slowly by and peace flowed

Where waters kissed sandstone block near wooden steps .

To higher ground .

Nature abound in all her beauty .

Hand in hand we stopped and glanced .

Love's reprieve looked back at us .

My love and I kissed by Lennox's placid evergreen way .

A gushing stream poured down from higher ground .

Tree ferns were found to be glistening .

I listened to my love as she spoke .

In a moment we captured love .

It was a beautiful touch  .

My love and I drank in natures beauty .

It filled our eyes with heavens blessings .

Holding a long look we took time .

In this world today some things are often hidden ,

We made our way to higher ground and reached out .

We were deep in a lovers clutch .
