Within my mind where love left , its empty today .
But somehow in the silence, everything's ok .
No one asked permission to break my heart in two.
No one picked up the pieces ,between me and you.
No one bothered to explain the meaning of, gone .
The distance from love, to what was left ,carried on .
Although it's distant , life will carry on you know.
With life I found, there is no other place go.
So when I wake up each day , I wake up alone .
I wonder some times if you're ever coming home .
Are you missing me the way I'm missing you ?
Does the flame burn the same when you're lonely and blue ?
Love's a heavy load ,but it's the cross that I bear .
Tears fall like raindrops and there's no one there to care.
But children are the rainbow and the sun will shine .
They are the blessing of love that got lost in time .
Each time I hear them coming knocking at my door .
I am not feeling hurt like all those times before .
Even though we've been through heated times me and you .
I hear you calling but I don't know what to do
I have to turn my back on you and walk away ,
There is nothing more in love that I have to say .
Love must have some meaning, its more than just a word.
It's an emotional feeling that must be shared .
Something's in life are hard to accept when its true .
When love gets lost life's colours begin to look blue .
It sad when words are hard to say , they grind away .
But every dog has its day I once heard you say ,
The day you turned your back and walked away I knew .
I was sorry for all the things I put you through .
So I chased after you and asked you to come back .
As hard as it was our love got lost down the track .
There used to be lots of love somehow it got lost
in a place where no one cared, love was double crossed .
Love takes no prisoners when other hearts are sought .
All's fair in love and war , my wars have all been fought .
