During lent I often think of events that once took place .
When I contemplate on Jesus I see his loving face .
What he said in the garden at Gethsemane ,
Jesu wept for goodness sake on his bended knee .
A surrender to the Fathers will by the son ,
Let this cup pass me by
Not mine but thine be done .
And then he was betrayed by a cold Judas kiss .
He was given a cross suffering could not dismiss .
He was stripped bare and whipped there ,
They all had their fun .
On Friday it went black as on the cross he hung.
Then with one final breath Jesus said ,.
It is done .
In that very moment the victory was won .
They took his body down and placed it in a tomb ,
Like a baby he was ready to leave the womb ,
For Jesus was not dead , he was just crucified .
Then he rose from death three days after he had died .
Glory be to Jesus ,
Forever praise his name .
In spirit and in truth ,
One thing can never change .
With the risen Lord we share in his victory .
The Apostles wrote the gospels for all to see .
Jesus is the son of God
May all Glory be .
To the Father , Son and Spirit
One trinity ..
There is three in one persons of divinity .
