In Thanksgiving Its God We Trust : Seasonal Poetry

We trust God will deliver us from those who do wrong .
When we are weak and on our knees ,
God will make us strong .
Being vulnerable to God he will carry the weak ,
for blessed are they who trust him when all seems oblique .
When we are attacked we must fight back or else we die .
In God we trust and God's justice no one can deny .
When evil tries to take away the life that we live ,
God protect us from injustice and help us forgive ,
inhumanity to man is a lesson to learn ,
but in God classroom the tables can be overturned .
God turns around our defeat into his victory ,
We are not slaves ,
No ,we are children of liberty .
If we are outnumbered by enemies far and wide ,
or if we are encumbered ,
we have God on our side .
If we are lost and frightened by the darkness today .
In thanksgiving God will provide an enlightened way .
