All around the little church,
There's a golden glow on snow .
Christmas trees and winter light ,
As around the earth we go .
In Trafalgar square a tree stands there ,
Pretty as can be .
While it's a frozen twilight hour ,
Around the holy see.
From parlours in Prague to pavements,
Trees in windows reflect .
Christmas time is when all the world ,
Tolerates with respect .
On the streets of America ,
A silent night for all .
In Portugal there is a tree ,
So beautiful and tall .
Christmas in Russia
follows an Orthodox candle light .
The spirit of goodwill rests over all
On Christmas night .
