I Go Just Where I Please : Lyric Poetry

written by Poet : Paul McCann

Wandering minstrel's they have no home on an Irish road they're all alone .

I went to Dublin played in a bar  and on to Belfast where I had a jar .

You see I go just where I please  and I'm flowing just like a breeze .

Then when people can hear me play it makes me happy everyday .

Storytellers and poets too they have a calling in life to do

just like a minstrel I travel round from Belfast and up to Down

Sang in Cork city and got squarely paid at least my music it keeps me fed .

So on the way up Blarney Street  there's' always music at my feet
