Acrostic Poetry Structure
This is a structure where the first letter of each line of the poem make a word and can be constructed as the title or theme of the poem .
An Example
Halloween
H ave you heard of Halloween and all of what goes on .
A fter all what does it matter if you're dead and gone .
L ike the ghouls and creepy monsters that walk through the street .
L ife is full of a tricks at times and death is but a treat .
O h for what its worth , you can get nothing in return .
W ith every little twist of fate it is bound to turn .
E veryone is having fun dressed up in strange costumes .
E ach door is knocked , and someone innocently assumes .
N ow the goose is fat and it's ready to be consumed .
