Grandmas Old And Grey : Family Poetry

Grandma said ,

"My oh my you're growing up so fast.

I never even noticed but the years have gone so fast ."

The she said ,

"I love you"

Her voice was kind of sweet .

A tear rolled down her wrinkled face

And landed at my feet .

 Her feeble hands were shaking

As she touched my face .

"I'm not long for this world "

She said.

"I'm not long for this place."

Her pains are getting worse,

 a little more each day.

Its hard when you feel young at heart

But .look so old and grey .
