Day Trip To Dallas : Funny Poetry

Well it's not that far from Cork to New York ,
and it's only a day trip to Dallas .
I'm coming to see you all in Dallas ,
sometime or another from the palace .
From the palace of pain where the rain falls swiftly ,
in my head where love is as pure ,
as a ten gallon hat in a thunderbird ford on highway 66,
for sure !
I'm a day tripper and I want to take in all sights ,
be kind Dallas to me .
I'm looking for a good time and I'm leaving behind my head ,
Dallas set me free !
